Ted Keid’s Sawmill

Ted Keid’s Sawmill has been relocated from Wondecla where it was opened in 1951. His sawmill was well known for its quality cabinet timbers but the mill also produced flooring, cladding, heavy bridge timbers and sleepers. Ted was also known for his wood chopping skills, he competed in competitions all over the north, and you can see his axes on display at the Axemen’s Hall of Fame.
