Around 100 visiting travel trade and industry professionals will experience Australia’s yesteryear with a visit to the Historic Village Herberton this Friday, October 23.
Craig and Connie Kimberley, owners of the Historic Village Herberton Village, said they were excited to welcome the visiting VIPs, who are attending Inbound Up North as delegates.
“We are looking forward to opening the doors of the Village and showcasing our product to travel agents from across the globe.
“It is also a great way to introduce our product to the local industry who may not have visited the Village.
“This is an incredible opportunity for us and we are pulling out all the stops to make the day a success.”
Inbound Up North has become a must do event on the calendar of both sellers (local tourism businesses) and buyers (international travel agents) and is now into its 15th year.
It will be held for the first time on the Atherton Tablelands. The two-day event includes a series of business to business workshops, networking functions and participatory activities in and around the region.
Craig said delegates would enjoy a traditional bush breakfast at the Pioneer Camp before taking in all the exhibits at the Village.
“We will have all the engines running, blacksmithing display, the new John Deere Tractor Exhibit as well as other surprises and highlights along the way,” he said.
