Welcoming you back to Historic Village Herberton
The Historic Village Herberton has now reopened to the public.
Following a period of closure due to COVID-19, the Historic Village Herberton is NOW OPEN 7 days (Monday to Sunday) from 9am to 5pm.
We are operating with restrictions, but this should have minimal impact on the visitor experience.
As we continue to navigate the changing world brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Historic Village Herberton’s priorities remain the same: the safety of our employees and our guests.
Visitors can be assured the Village has completed its COVID-19 Risk Assessment and adopted industry wide recommendations for its COVIDSafe Plan.
✔️ Follow the 4sqm per person rule at the giftshop / entrance
✔️ Manage visitor numbers in accordance with the Queensland Government directive
✔️ Social distancing enforced
✔️ Hand sanitising stations throughout the Village
✔️ Cleaning wipes and bins for picnic and public areas
✔️ Cleaning and disinfecting in accordance with WHS guidelines
✔️ Visitor register for contact tracing
✔️ Due to the low visitor numbers at this time, the Bakerville Tearooms will remain closed – we apologise for any inconvenience caused. You are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy one of the many lovely spots available to sit and relax.
We are a unique site, set on 16 acres, so there is plenty of open-air and space for social distancing.
We can’t wait to see you all soon!
